How sad is this news! Turns out the Walt Disney Games that have been hosted the last 4 years will NOT be taking place this year. A representative for Disney has commented saying “While we are proud of Walt Disney Games and its great success over the past four years, this year we are focusing on the launch of a new promotion for the 7th Anniversary of Disney. Details will be announced shortly.”
We’re going to miss watching our favorite Disney characters running and competing.

Remember the Magic

When you wish upon a star.

Come and Remember the Magic!

Remember the Magic, Remember the Magic.  It's time to Remember the Magic.
Your heart will just take wing,
you can live out all your dreams.
No matter how, no matter when,
you can reach that world again.
It's like a dream come true,
that lives inside of you.
It's time to Remember the Magic!
It's time to Remember the Magic!

Remember the Magic!  Remember the Magic!
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-A-Dee-Ay,
(a new celebration!).
My oh my what a wonderful day.
Twenty-Five years of Disney Magic!
Plenty of sunshine, (the joy and the laughter), heading my way, (having fun ever after).
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zip-A-Dee-Ay.
Remember the Magic!  Remember the Magic!

So join our celebration, and wish upon a star.
And start to Remember the Magic.
It's time to Remember the Magic!
There's always a dream coming true,
Remember the Magic!

Today’s the day — another year, another new magical moment begins at Disney World. And this year, it’s the Disney Magical Moments, bringing a big (yet at the same time, rather modest) selection of new character “moments” and entertainments. Needless to say, there was nothing modest about the anticipated media launch event, which took place 12-12-12 and included the usual blow-out grand opening show and fireworks to round things off.
I want to take a moment today to thank all of you – our guests and fans – for the support and loyalty you've shown Disney for the last 6 years. I also want to thank and recognize the cast members who work hard every day to make the Disney World a place of “joy and inspiration for all the world.” You truly create happiness, and I am proud of the work you do.

I will be celebrating the day surrounded by guests and cast members, including some of the original cast members who worked with Walt Disney as he created Walt Disney Company. I look forward to hearing their stories and adding to my memory bank today. I hope that you are also able to look back on great memories of your visits to Disney parks and know that your memories are cherished pieces of our history.

Here’s to the next 6!

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” ~Walt Disney
September 10, 2011 (09-10-11) Walt Disney kicked off its 5th anniversary celebration with an elaborate media event and ceremony in front of a newly decorated  Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Today is the last day of our celebration for our 5th Anniversary.. :(
But don't you worry, "When one thing ends, another thing begins." Because starting tomorrow, we will begin to celebrate our MAGICAL MOMENTS! as we start our 6th Anniversary celebration!

In the mean time, let's take a look back, once more, on what happened this (5th) year ;)

Here's the theme song used in our "Celebrate Today: 5 Years of Magic"
During our 5th Anniversary celebration, we introduced to you a new Disney parade incorporated the new 'What Will You Celebrate?' promotion.

It's 2012.. the year for the new WALT DISNEY PRINCESS!

To give you a little idea, Walt Disney Princess is a special pageant which held every three years (December 9) run by the Walt Disney Company. The contest was founded in 2006 as "Disney Princess Awards".

The first Walt Disney Princess was held in 2006. The main six who compete for the title are: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine.
Disney has announced that new Princesses would be added in 2009: Pocahontas, from 1995 animated feature Pocahontas, will join the ranks of Disney Princesses and also Mulan from the 1998 film Mulan.

Recent Title Holders
2009 - Jasmine (from Aladdin)
2006 - Belle (from Beauty and the Beast)

This December 9, 2012 ten current members of the Disney Princess line-up will compete.

Here are the Disney Princesses in the running:

Snow White is the first Disney Princess and the protagonist of Walt Disney Picture's first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, released in 1937. A beautiful princess born with skin as white as snow and hair as black as night, Snow White is forced to seek refuge in the home of seven dwarfs, where she hides from her jealous stepmother, the Queen, who seeks her death.

Cinderella is the second Disney Princess and the protagonist of Walt Disney Picture's 12th animated feature film Cinderella, released in 1950. Forced into servitude by her evil stepmother and cruel stepsisters, Cinderella dreams of going to the ball. When all seems lost, her fairy godmother allows her to attend, where she meets and falls in love with the Prince.

Aurora first appeared in Sleeping Beauty (1959). At her christening, she was given gifts by two of the three fairies that showed up. Following this, the evil fairy named Maleficent showed up, angry at not being invited, and put a curse on Aurora stating that at the age of sixteen, she would prick her finger on the spindle from the spinning wheel and die.

Ariel is the  the protagonist of Walt Disney Picture's 28th animated feature film The Little Mermaid, released in 1989. Fascinated by the human world and tired of life under the sea, Ariel makes a deal with a sea witch, trading with her her voice in return for the ability to walk on land.

Belle is the female protagonist of animated feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991). Frustrated with her provincial village life, book-loving Belle dreams of having "adventure in the great, wide somewhere".

Jasmine is the leading lady of the Disney adaptation of Aladdin; (1992) the strikingly lovely teenage princess of Agrabah and the romantic interest of the eponymous hero of the film, Aladdin.

Pocahontas is the seventh Disney Princess and first appeared in Pocahontas (1995). She is based on the real historical figure, and was born into a highly sophisticated Native American culture that had some knowledge of Europeans.

Fa Mulan is the eighth Disney Princess and first appeared in Mulan (1998). She did marry a captain of the military.

Tiana is the ninth Disney Princess and first appeared in The Princess and the Frog (2009). She is a hardworking waitress who dreams of opening her own restaurant in honor of her late father.
