Official Press Release. The biggest news about this year’s Halloween? It will officially be “Not-So-Scary”, courtesy of Mickey Mouse and a string of brand new nighttime ticket events for more gentle frights.

Now, as Disney's Halloween Time enters its first event in Disney World, the entertainment directors are planning their biggest shake-up of the after-hours parties yet. You might have already heard the rumours earlier, but if not, we’ll announce it for you — Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are coming to Disney World!

This will be a brand new, extra ticketed event for Walt Disneyland Park playing across two Saturdays (15th, and 22nd) and one Monday (31st) in October 2011. The event in Disney World will be entirely different and, at least for its first year, quite a bit more intimate. There will be  Boo-to-You Parade or Halloween themed fireworks.
Central to the occasion will be Walt Disneyland , made over with special decorations and illuminations, welcoming you not only to almost all its attractions but exclusive new shows, entertainments and character meets throughout the land.

NEW: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This year, Walt Disneyland Resort  will host 3 brand new parties at Walt Disneyland Park during the month of October 2011 for younger guests who like to dress up and want to celebrate Halloween with Disney Characters.

The Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties welcome guests for an evening in the park. Walt Disneyland will have a special décor giving an unusual atmosphere with exclusive night time shows, and roguish Disney Characters, new music,  and many other surprises.

Guests will sing, dance and laugh with Merlin and the four surprising witches: Minnie, Lilo, Daisy and Clarice in the castle courtyard and will enjoy the final Halloween happening at the end of the evening.


**The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties will run from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. (Dates: October 15 … 22 … 31, 2011)
